About a month ago, in a quest to become a healthier individual, I started taking vitamins daily. I am also making a conscience effort to drink 60 ounces of water a day. I can honestly say that I notice a difference and feel healthier.
I did not realize how important vitamins are. The nutrients that you do not receive through the foods that you eat can be supplemented through vitamins. Consider taking supplements like Fish Oil supplements, which support healthy cholesterol and blood pressure levels. Vitamin C, it supports your immune system, (I am taking these faithfully in hopes of avoiding the flu this year!) Or One a Day vitamins are also great supplement considerations.
Currently, I am taking a biotin supplement. I was intrigued by the label. It claims to promote healthy hair, skin, and nails. We shall see if these vitamins contribute to my hair growing any faster than normal. The vitamin experiment is going great so far! I probably won’t be so excited when it’s time to re-up at GNC, can you say EXPENSIVE lol.
As always consult with your physician regarding any supplements that you are taking. It’s a great idea to at least consider researching supplements that will improve your overall well being.
