Skincare plays a huge role in my daily regimin. There are so many great skin care products out there on the market. However, it’s great when we can play chef in the kitchen and whip up homemade concoctions for our skin. Here are a few skincare face masks that you can make right at home using ingredients out of your kitchen cabinets:
For skin that needs moisture try this simple mask:
- Mix egg whites and 2 tablespoons of non flavored yogurt in a bowl. Apply the mask to your face for five to ten minutes. Rinse with warm water. Your skin will feel softer and soothing!
For dry skin, try the avocado mask:
- Mash 1/2 of an avocado in a bowl and add 1/4 of a cup of honey. Apply the mixture onto your face for ten to fifteen minutes. Rinse with cold water. Avocado and honey are both great moisturizers, this face mask will work wonders for dry skin!
For oily skin, you may find this mask helpful:
- All you need is a banana, honey, and a lemon or an orange. Mash up the banana and add two tablespoons of honey by hand or using a blender. Then add a few drops of juice from a lemon or an orange. Apply the mixture to your face for about 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water & follow up with your regular moisturizer. You should notice a difference in the amount of oiliness in your skin in no time!
